𧪠Day 1: Start Your AI Learning Journey
Day 1 is here!
Day 1 of #100DAYSOFAI
Hello there!! đ
Today's the day you start to gain your AI superpowers.âĄ
Iâm thrilled to go on this journey together as a community. As we are developing new AI skills over the next 100 days, weâre also establishing new habits. Habit building (and building with AI in general) is more fun, effective, and accountable when itâs embedded in a community.
The best way to set yourself up for success is to follow the steps in this email and find your fellow challengers who are committing to this learning journey using the #100DaysOfAI hashtag on Twitter/X and LinkedIn.
Along the way, I want to hear whatâs working and whatâs not. Are the lessons relevant, engaging, and easy to follow? What other ideas do you have that youâd like to learn? Iâll include short surveys at the end of some emails, and I also love hearing from you on X/LinkedIn đ (feel free to post on other social platforms too, this is just where we find our community shares most of their work and reflections).
Let's Set You Up For Success!
Todayâs Taskđ
𧹠Project: Start Your AI Learning Journey
â˛ď¸ Estimated time: 30 minutes
đ ď¸ Tools: X (Twitter)/ LinkedIn
Today is prep day, allowing some time to get physically and mentally ready for your first practical lesson tomorrow.
You can find everything you need for each lesson in your inbox each day. Weâve also created an AI survival guide for you to reference that includes additional details about AI concepts, a roadmap of the 100 days, FAQs, and more (this is a great resource to bookmark).
Here are some housekeeping steps to ensure youâre set up for success:
1ď¸âŁ Publicly commit to the #100DaysofAI challenge.
If you don't commit, are you really IN? Public commitment is a great way to feel the benefits of social accountability. Just hit the big green button below and you're good to go. If youâd prefer to share your progress on LinkedIn or another platform, that's great too!
2ď¸âŁ Join the đŻ club.
Join me in the 100 club by adding the đŻ emoji to your bio to show youâre taking part in the challenge and make it easier for others to connect with you.

3ď¸âŁ Start connecting with your community peers.
We want to make sure you get to connect with as many of your fellow challengers as soon as possible! So make sure to say hi đ and share one goal you have for taking part in the challenge at the threads below.
4ď¸âŁ Make sure you get our emails.
You might find that our emails land in the âPromotionsâ tab of Gmail or even your spam folder. To make sure you never miss one of our emails, move the email you are reading right now into your Primary tab (if youâre using Gmail). Follow these steps if you don't know how.
If your email platform accidentally marks our emails as spam, follow your email platform instructions to reassign them to emails that you want to receive.
If youâre comfortable setting up email rules, we recommend that you set up a rule that directs all of our emails into a dedicated 100DaysofAI folder. Thisâll make it easier for you to refer back to lessons, tools and resources that you discover during the challenge.
There's one more thing you can do - ⨠reply to this email ⨠and say hi. This will again help make sure that our daily emails arrive in the right place!
Contextđ
To give you an idea of the path ahead, hereâs an overview of what you can expect over the next 100 days.
There are 3 simple but powerful elements that make up the #100DaysOfAI formula:
Publicly commit to taking the challenge â
Learn AI skills for at least 30 minutes every day for 100 days đŻ
Share your progress every day
⥠Phase 1: AI foundations
The goal of phase 1 is to feel like, "Oh, I can actually do this", and to start feeling the power of generative AI. We aim for each dayâs lesson to be fun, well-structured, and empowering. Youâll get a birdâs eye view of what you can do with AI tools from drafting emails to building custom chatbots.
Each day we'll build mini projects like chatbots, personal websites and automations. Thisâll provide a solid foundation for Phase 2.
⥠Phase 2: Learn popular AI use cases
Phase 2 is about cementing your skills and going deeper into the most popular AI use cases. Weâll cover use cases from AI for marketing, sales, art creation and more!
By focusing on these fields, you'll learn a great variety of skills that you can apply to your everyday life and work.
This is where you also get to
⥠Phase 3: Apply your AI skills to real world problems
Once you have built your first few projects, understood the space more deeply and learned some of the most versatile AI use cases, you'll be ready for Phase 3.
For Phase 3, weâve curated a number of missions (problem statements from real and fictional companies and creators that can be solvedâby youâwith AI). This will be a great way for you to put your new skills to the test!
đ¨ Don't miss out! đ¨
As a way for us to keep you accountable along the way and to ensure only the most committed are taking part in the challenge, we've set some rules!
To get access to Phase 2 and beyond of the challenge, you will need to complete at least 50% of bite-sized lessons.
What does it mean to complete a bite-sized lesson?
To complete lessons, finish the mini project for the day and share your progress on X (Twitter), LinkedIn or another platform you prefer using the #100DaysOfAI hashtag!
Reflectđ¤
Creating a regular habit of dedicating just 30 minutes (or 2% of your day) to your AI learning journey can make a world of difference when developing new skills.
Consistency is key.
By setting aside this time each day, ideally at the same time each day to help you build the habit, you'll gradually build a sense of mastery and progress.
Over time, these daily increments add up, leading to profound skill development and an empowered sense of achievement in your AI endeavours. So, what is that pocket of time in your schedule you can commit to? What rituals will you create around this time to make your habit stick?
Iâm excited to watch you flourish. đą
